Mens Group.
We are looking for more members for our mens group. We have been in existance for 7 years and meet fortnightly in Te Horo. There are only 3 of us at present and we would like 5-7 members. We discuss a range of topics which come up and how our life is going. We offer support and friendship and a social time in the fortnight. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
