CITIZENS ADVICE BUREAU KAPITI AGM 6TH SEPTEMBER 10AM
Good afternoon! You are cordially invited to the Annual General Meeting of Citizens Advice Bureau Kāpiti on Wednesday 6th September at 10am followed by morning tea.
We are a group of about 50 passionate Kāpiti volunteers who have trained to help you answer questions ranging from employment and tenancy, housing and neighbour disputes, right through to the date of the next concert at Te Raukura ki Kāpiti Performing Arts Centre - do ring us in Otaki and Paraparaumu if you have any questions at all!
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
Do you think this ban is reasonable?
