Write Your Story Community series of 5-weekly 2.5-hour workshops in Paraparaumu
Everyone has a story to tell. We talk about them all the time. Capturing your story either one-on-one, or in a fun community environment can be a very rewarding project. It's a great way to preserve your memories/family history, re-connect with whanau and friends, and a treasure for future generations. The upcoming series of 5-weekly 2.5-hour community workshops commence on Friday 21st July in Paraparaumu. These workshops are very popular. For more information, or to reserve your place contact Angela at kiaora@angelarobertson.nz or ring 027 633 2821.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
