Notice of AGM of Waikanae Beach Residents Society Incorporated,
SATURDAY 8th July, 2023 –
1.30pm - 3pm
at the Waikanae Beach Community Hall, 22 Rauparaha St. Waikanae Beach.
Meeting Agenda
Welcome
(a) Receiving minutes of the previous Society’s AGM(s);
(b) The Chairs report on the business of the Society; plus.
• Discussion on proposals for building intensification
• Discussion on Community Hall
• Discussion on History Boards at the beach.
(c) The Treasurer’s report on the finances of the Society, and the Annual Financial Statements;
(d) Election of Society Office holders;
(e) Proposal to change rules to extend membership to Peka Peka and Te Horo
(f) General business.
___________________________________________________________________________What have we been up to.
• Presenting submissions and having a dialogue with representatives of the Waikanae Community Board, KCDC and Greater Wellington Regional Council.
• This has included a discussion of rate increases, emergency management, flooding and stormwater, community hall, Waimeha stream realignment, KCDC democracy changes, and traffic regulations.
