The Team from Kāpiti Coast District Council

Council work is complex, but its impact is real – it shapes the everyday lives and the future of everyone who calls Kāpiti home. We’re calling on those with the passion, dedication and energy to give back to the community to take the leap into local government.

We have loads of information available in our Candidate Information Handbook and Pre-election Report, and we’re running Candidate Information Sessions online on Wednesday 9 July and in-person on 19 July to help you decide if this job is for you.

🔷 Māori ward councillor (1)
🔷 Districtwide councillor (2)
🔷 General ward councillor (7)
🔷 Community Board member (20)

There’s three ways you can make a nomination 👇🏼
1. Via the online portal on our website
2. Downloading forms from our website and submitting in-person
3. Picking up a nomination form at any our service centres or libraries and submitting in-person

All nominations must be received by 1 August 12 noon sharp but sooner would be better. Completed hardcopy nomination papers must be lodged in person at Kāpiti Coast District Council’s main office at 175 Rimu Road, Paraparaumu.
