Join us for an evening of fun, great music and local art supporting the Cancer Society featuring. Performers - Gaylene Hughes accomplished singer, Lexus Song Quest Finalist Joe Haddow and Phoebe Rose Osborne soprano accompanied by Pianist Kathryn Ennis-Wilson. Local art will be on display provided by the Hutt Art Society. Complimentary nibbles, wine, beer or non alcoholic beverage on arrival (2 x per ticket) additional refreshments for be available for purchase. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
