Monday's earthquake stirred up sediment in reservoirs and pipes that caused discolouration of the water - but it is still safe to drink.
We received reports of dirty water from all over the four cities shortly after the earthquake. It should now have settled. However, there may be some places where it hasn't, or where dirty water still needs to be cleared.
If you do have dirty water please call your city council so that we can come out and flush the mains. Once it has been flushed, we'll let you know so that you can flush your inside pipes. The best way to do this is to run an outside tap until it clears. If it hasn't cleared after 15 minutes please contact your city council again. We'll then get in touch to work with you on isolating the problem.

No mention is made for Riverstone Terraces and I am contacting the Regional Performance Manager on residents concerns regarding this intersection. I will keep you all informed. I can do no more than that at this stage.

The duo play a blend of Country, Blues, Bluegrass and Folk. Audiences are captivated by their tight harmonies and easygoing nature onstage. Kim and Dusty always deliver something for everyone with dirty blues, lonesome ballads and high paced bluegrass standards. Regular performers at several venues around Wellington they also make time to tour to other towns around the lower North Island.
Our house concerts are family friendly events with personal flair. Seating is casual and if you feel at home we're happy. Children are very welcome.
We will provide nibbles and unlimited tea - and you are welcome to bring you own drinks or food.
Weather permitting, we will spill out onto the deck and the lawn - and you are welcome to tour the gardens, listen to the frogs or spend a quiet moment in the bush. While the concert will finish on time, you are welcome to linger - bring an instrument for a jam or just dream by the fire. Summer will have songs around the brazier as the stars come out and we can always fire up the barbie.
Suggested koha for the musicians: $15
Playing at the Rabbithole, Akatarawa, 27 November 2016, 7.30-9pm

It may be of use to some of you or younger members of your families.
