The story is out, hot off the press that Upper Hutt water leaks are taking only a max of 21days to fix.
Good job Wellington Water and UH City Council. Yeah, right.

Less than a few months ago a leak in busy Ward Street took almost 4 months to fix during that time thousands had to step over or wade through the 24/7 water wastage. Around the same time other people in UH reported the 2-3 months delays in public water leaks being attended to and one person spoke of six months gap between first report and repairs.

At the very least there could be some honesty.
One does hope that there are plans to put into action for a few days gap only between leak spotting and leak fixing.
