Covid is a reminder of just how much we rely on health professionals. One of those health professionals is Wellington Free Ambulance. We are lucky to have a free ambulance service and over the next few weeks it is likely to be under more pressure than normal. There are 500,000 people in the region and if 85,.000 text ONESIE to 3181 to donate $3, that would be an incredible $255,000, the cost of a new ambulance. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
