THE CAMEO ROOMS IN MAHARA PLACE WAIKANAE THIS WEEK........
Come along if you are keen to be part of a new discussion group at 1030am on Monday - the time might change but come along if you can; there are an awful lot of things to put right in the world!!
Puis, nous avons French lessons on Monday at 11.00am, and our Words group (all things literary) on Tuesday at 1.00pm after our JP visit from 1030am till noon, then Rummikub on Wednesday at 1.00pm, and our ever-more-talented musicians Rick and friends playing on Thursday at 1.00pm. (Line dancing is next Friday, the third Friday of the month.)
Do come along - Cameo is a place where you can laugh and chat to each other and the hosts and meet such interesting people (Albert and his dear little Jack Russell, Barney, on Wednesday) -
Have a lovely weekend :)
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
