Sue from Waikanae

Just a reminder that we have Moira Gray of Porirua Kapiti Community Law Centre talking to us this coming Saturday about being work ready in New Zealand, the skills and visas required, employment contracts and what should be in them - everything someone new to New Zealand needs to know -

Followed by a Q&A session and a free lunch. So don't miss it - and if you know anyone who would benefit from this topic and potentially avoid all sorts of problems, please do pass this information on to them -

SATURDAY 20TH MARCH FROM 11.00AM IN THE RIMU ROOM, UPSTAIRS IN COASTLANDS SHOPPING TOWN -

HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE :)

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
