If you enjoy seeing an amazing collection of beautiful flowers and other plants (e.g. natives, ferns and cactus and succulents), you will love the Begonia and Fuchsia Show happening 13 & 14 February at Walter Nash Centre, Taita. Entry remains just $3 for adults with accompanying children free. Children are also able to take part in a treasure hunt. Various plants will be for sale. Please bring cash.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
