HOOP HOOP HURRAH
This labour weekend Kapiti Ballers took 2 teams (Kapiti Gold and Kapiti Kobe's) to Hoop Nation 2020 playing in the the under 14 development division. The Kobe's took the title for this division. Congratulations! We are so proud of all of these lads in both teams. They all played with the best spirit and did Kapiti, their supporters and themselves proud. The Pest Man is delighted to have been able to support them.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
