Mahogany bedroom suite for sale (price reduced).

Stefan from Waikanae

Listing on behalf of a friend, this mahogany bedroom suite is at least 50 years old and was made to last. It is in good sound original condition. There is no splitting on any of the surfaces and everything still feels very solid.

There are the usual small blemishes/marks as might be expected from something over 50 years old, but nothing of any great note. The mirror of the dresser looks great with no obvious issues to the coating on the back.

The chest of drawers has one broken drawer handle and although one handle appears to be missing, it just needs to be reattached.
In addition to the pieces photographed, there are two single headboards in the same style:

DIMENSIONS:
Dresser with mirror: 1220mm (W) x 760mm (H) x 420mm (D). The mirror adds around another 870mm to the overall height.
Chest of drawers: 1205mm (W) x 675mm (H) x 420mm (D)
Side tables: (x2) 450mm (W) x 650mm (H) x 380mm (D)
Stool: 380mm (W) x 470mm (H) x 310mm (D)
Single bed headboards (x2)

Price: $150

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.

Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.

We want to know: What do you think about automation?
Are you for, or against?
