To commemorate Anzac Day there are a number of events in Wellington that are open to the public:

6am — Dawn Service at Pukeahu National War Memorial Park
9am — Citizens Wreath-Laying Service at the Cenotaph Precinct, corner Lambton Quay and Bowen Street
11am — National Commemoration Service at Pukeahu National War Memorial Park
2.30pm — Atatürk Service at Atatürk Memorial Park, Tarakena Bay
