Maude's still here for the Waikanae Easter Market on the 20th :)

Sue from Waikanae

Oh phew! We thought you were closing before Easter, Maude, and we're so happy to have you a bit longer!

For those of you who don't know, Maude is heading for Otaki after Easter to bigger premises on the State Highway and we hope she does really, really well there -

If you haven't already done so, pop in and wish her good luck, and buy one of her famous Easter Bunny Bags while you're there (there are two $50 vouchers hidden in this pile of colourful bags somewhere (no rummaging!)

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
