Would you buy a cup of coffee for a stranger?
Coffee drinkers at Trentham's Hub Cafe are "paying-it-forward".
Customers buying a coffee can pay for a second brew which is then available to someone more in need through their taking a tag off a communal wall and redeeming it.

Quite a few people in our area have reported receiving a large number of scam emails. NetSafe have created a service people can forward the emails to, and they will deal with them by creating a bogus automated responder which wastes the scammers' time to slow them down from scamming new victims.
"If you’ve received a scam email, forward it to me@rescam.org and we’ll take it from there. We’ll even send you an unedited summary of the conversations Re:scam has had with the scammer – sometimes they can be quite humorous."
You can find out more about Re:scam and how it works at www.rescam.org......

Worth a try. One may pick up some hints to try on the 'Phone scammers' too 😝

We’re offering Neighbourly members a 2 for 1 deal on our Mobiliser which helps relieve back, shoulder and neck pain.
The Mobiliser is a flat bed with rollers that run up your spine and gently push you out of a hunched position; this stretches your spine's connective tissue and relieves pain. The Mobiliser is a treatment that’s been tested and approved by the British Military.
All profits from this promotion will go to the SPCA!

Hungry, wet, cold and stressed is no way to start the school day (if it doesn’t stop them from getting to school) but for over 295,000 Kiwi children living in hardship that is the reality. This can impact their educational growth and lead to a lifelong pattern of underachievement. There is a way to break this cycle; by providing simple things like food, shoes, socks and raincoats, so kids can arrive at school ready and able to learn. KidsCan's aim is to prevent children in hardship from becoming adults in hardship by giving them the start in life they deserve.
