The main thing about Birchville is the beautiful native bush and the endless fluttering of Tui, Kereru and many other species. I can look out three sides of my house and admire Mother Nature at work. It helps to make my life enjoyable. What more could I ask for?

Water demand is down - good work Wellingtonians

The Team from Wellington Water

Awesome work Wellingtonians, you have been keeping demand below 160MLD as you continue to #loveeverydrop.
Your gardens will have seen some love this week but this weekend is looking a bit dryer, so keep up the good water conservation work and let's remain below 160MLD.

My name is Jordan Atkinson and I work with the AIL of New Zealand Child Safety division.

According to the NZ police, there are 8,000 people reported missing each year in NZ. Unfortunately 2-3,000 are our children.

I am trying to reach and provide a NO-COST child safe kit and family information guide to as many families as possible so if your child is ever lost, kidnapped or even in a natural disaster it saves a lot of precious time.

If you have children or not and would like to know more please message or call me so I can make a time to visit you and your family and give you more information.

Kind regards,
Jordan Atkinson.

Laurie from Birchville
