To all fishing enthusiastics, please be aware of not leaving fishing gear laying around. This afternoon, I ended up with fishing hooks on my foot (ouch!). Below, picture of the offending material.
The main thing about Birchville is the beautiful native bush and the endless fluttering of Tui, Kereru and many other species. I can look out three sides of my house and admire Mother Nature at work. It helps to make my life enjoyable. What more could I ask for?

I am trying to reach and provide a NO-COST child safe kit and family information guide to as many families as possible so if your child is ever lost, kidnapped or even in a natural disaster it saves a lot of precious time.

Life can be difficult but I think we should consider the type of future we want. Society is changing remarkably and who knows what the future will bring? Might I suggest thinking things through to avoid winding up like the recycling bins in Park Street. Perhaps one step at a time?
