Landlord faces 16 year wait for Tenancy Tribunal-ordered payout
A rental property owner has hit out at a “laughable” Tenancy Tribunal ruling that saw her awarded $25,000 from a disruptive tenant - to be paid off at $30 a week.
“I will be 82 years-old when it’s fully paid off,” she said. “Laughable.”

A wallaby spotted in Hamilton was probably kept as a pet, the regional council says - and that’s “simply irresponsible”.
The dama wallaby, which had an immature joey in its pouch, was spotted in Frankton on March 3, reported and killed, Waikato Regional Council says.
