Raglan’s freedom camping ban set to be extended
Raglan residents sick of freedom campers using their streets for impromptu parties and makeshift toilets will be anxiously awaiting the results of a proposed bylaw change which could see problem campers banned.
Members of the Waikato District Council’s Policy and Regulatory Committee are holding hearings into the bylaw change, aimed at banning freedom camping on James St, in the Raglan Town Hall from 9.30am on Wednesday.
