Waikato District Council Finances 2014-2024
Based on the annual reports from the council, this has been the change in population, income, expense and rates in the past decade. These are not critiques in themselves but we do need to understand the measures that were taken to keep any cost increases in check, especially since the increase was not equally consistent across population, income/expense, and rates.

‘Simply irresponsible’: Wallaby likely kept as pet in Hamilton, regional council says
A wallaby spotted in Hamilton was probably kept as a pet, the regional council says - and that’s “simply irresponsible”.
The dama wallaby, which had an immature joey in its pouch, was spotted in Frankton on March 3, reported and killed, Waikato Regional Council says.
