‘This isn’t about my ego’: Ewan Wilson rules out mayoral bid, backs Macindoe and Taylor
The race to claim Hamilton’s mayoral chains has just got a little less crowded after councillor Ewan Wilson has confirmed he will not stand for the top job.
Wilson told the Waikato Times that after much consideration, “my wife Monique and I have decided that I will not be standing for the mayoralty of Hamilton”.
