Poll: Do you think the health system is understaffed?

Libby Totton Reporter from Waikato Times

Hundreds of roles at Te Whatu Ora Waikato are vacant, including a senior pharmacist position unfilled for 1081 days and more than 250 nursing jobs.

Nurses have “gruelling and relentless workloads“ according to a 30-year veteran who recently resigned from a Waikato Hospital role, saying there was high turnover and she was one of few seniors.

Does our health system need more staff, in your opinion? Let us know your reasons in the comments (add NFP if you don't want them used in print).
