We are hiring! Rangahau | Research Librarian – Aotearoa and Pacific

Matihiko/Tech Support Librarian from Dinsdale Te Tiwha O Pareiiriwhare

We are looking for an energetic team member who enjoys helping people. You will be helping maintain the libraries print Heritage Collections, which includes books, serials, newspapers and maps. The role involves selection and deselection of the book collection, as well as assisting customers with their enquiries.

You will need to have a library qualification (or equivalent) or be working towards one. Experience in researching whakapapa and a knowledge of tikanga would be an advantage.

This is a full time (37.5 hours per week) role that is worked across Sunday to Thursday. You will also be required to work rostered evenings and public holiday weekends.

Starting gun sounds for housing on Te Rapa Racecourse land with re-zoning
