Join us this Saturday morning at 9 am - 10.30 to start your Tai Chi journey at the Methodist Church Hall on Bank Street Te Awamutu. Wear shoes you would be happy to go for a walk in, and comfy clothes. We will provide a cuppa and a biscuit, friendly, inclusive atmosphere and the opportunity to de-stress. $30 for the six weeks. Derelict Tokanui Hospital site in line for a clean-up
Derelict Tokanui Hospital buildings will be demolished and contaminated land cleaned up so the site can be offered back to iwi.
The former psychiatric hospital, southeast of Te Awamutu, sits on land taken from Ngāti Maniapoto under the Public Works Act in 1910.
