What is a Microgreen?
Kaimai Greens produce fresh microgreens all year round, microgreens are a seedling vegetable or herbs, smaller than baby greens yet larger than sprouts.
The team at Kaimai Greens are proud to have Biogro organic certification which means we don’t use pesticides or herbicides. Our wide range of greens are all grown locally in Matamata and are available from your local New World supermarket, packaged ready to eat!
Our microgreens are all grown in real soil under the New Zealand sun - so no artificial light or hydroponics.
No chemicals, No artificial fertilisers, No nasties, only what mother nature provides, we want to make sure our plants are as natural as possible for you to eat.
From rugged campsite to 7.5ha resort
Grant Kilby has always loved camping. His mum was director of health at the YMCA, and he would attend YMCA camps in the school holidays. “I think it was mandatory that I was there,” he jokes.
He went on camping holidays with his parents, and later, took his own kids.
