Community Meeting - Rangamarie Reserve
Pirongia Community Association are hosting a public meeting to discuss the playground proposal at the Rangamarie Reserve.
Thursday 26th October at 7pm at the Community Hall on Crozier Street.
Draft plans are not yet available for viewing but there will be an opportunity to discuss the proposed plans.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

Hospitals used to own up to their mistakes in a very public fashion. Each year they published a list of “Sentinel Events” — the most serious incidents involving patient harm.
That window of openness has slammed shut.
