Tractor needed
Is there a farmer in Pirongia who has a tractor and can assist us in moving a few bucket loads of blue stone into a massive puddle hole on our driveway. The contractors came down the drive after heavy rain and made the corner of our gravel drive so low that it fills with water and has nowhere to drain even after a week of sun. Derelict Tokanui Hospital site in line for a clean-up
Derelict Tokanui Hospital buildings will be demolished and contaminated land cleaned up so the site can be offered back to iwi.
The former psychiatric hospital, southeast of Te Awamutu, sits on land taken from Ngāti Maniapoto under the Public Works Act in 1910.
