If you ever were scared of speaking publicly or even wanting to talk before your workmates or you would like to polish already acquired skills, Toastmasters offers an nonthreatening and supportive environment. Would renown well-tried program and materials to work through at your pace to improve your leadership and communication skills. Go online to find a Club at a time and place to suit www.toastmasters.org... There are several Clubs in Hamilton and surrounding districts. I have never regretted joining and mading lots of new friends as a great bonus!

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

Derelict Tokanui Hospital site in line for a clean-up
Derelict Tokanui Hospital buildings will be demolished and contaminated land cleaned up so the site can be offered back to iwi.
The former psychiatric hospital, southeast of Te Awamutu, sits on land taken from Ngāti Maniapoto under the Public Works Act in 1910.
