Pirongia Plunket Quiz Night
Pirongia Plunket hosting a quiz night at the 5 Stags in Pirongia on Tuesday 28 Feb 7 for a 730pm start. Tables are $60 with up to 6 people on a table. We will have a raffle running too for a surf casting fishing road, reel and tackle box also a hand crafted chopping board and knife.
All proceeds going towards new equipment for the Pirongia Rangamarie Community Reserve and Playground.

Derelict Tokanui Hospital site in line for a clean-up
Derelict Tokanui Hospital buildings will be demolished and contaminated land cleaned up so the site can be offered back to iwi.
The former psychiatric hospital, southeast of Te Awamutu, sits on land taken from Ngāti Maniapoto under the Public Works Act in 1910.
