Well what an outstanding success the weekend was. The weather was a bit unkind and what a tease to have great days all this week. The rain didn't stop about 8000 people attending. How do we know?
The Otorohanga District Council has a very sophisticated drone that was flown throughout Steamfest weekend and it was used to take a series of photographs so that a head-count could be made at different times of each day.
Steamfest 2018 is being planned right now. The website www.steamfest.co.nz... was updated on Sunday night with a form to register for information mail-outs, and by early Monday morning several hundred people had already registered. We even had one lady arrive at the office wanting to pre-pay for seats on the 2018 Dinner Train.
Lots of great photo's can be seen on www.facebook.com...

Softwash is the original, authentic, low-pressure cleaning process. “It’s a unique system that is not harsh on your home’s exterior,” says manager Stan Wilkins. “We don’t water-blast because that can damage the paint or surface of the building, allowing water to enter the wall cavities and lead to dampness and mould.” Instead the Softwash process gently neutralises and removes the mould, algae and other grime that’s harmful to paintwork, leaving your home looking like new again. Softwash also specialises in roof treatments and gutter cleaning. Decks, patios, paths, driveways and shade sails are transformed by the Softwash treatment too. Bothered by spiders and flies and the unsightly mess they leave behind inside and outside your home? Our technicians are licensed to treat indoor and outdoor areas for flies and spiders – eliminating those unsightly cobwebs and hordes of pesky flies. Customer satisfaction is our highest priority. “We offer a fast, efficient service that’s preceded by a free quote so you know exactly what the job will cost. There are no hidden costs.”

Hi all. My names Natalie and I've recently been diagnosed pre diabetic.

I'm looking for people in my area to get on the fitness bandwagon and get out and do stuff. I'm not much of a do it alone kinda person.

I'm also looking for people with pre diabetes or diabetes to help or give some information.

I've made a Facebook page with my journey for you to follow if you wish. Post some tips or tricks.

I want to beat this before it gets worse, and I'd love to help others too.
