Drop in event in Te Puke on Wednesday - come and have your say!
Thank you to everyone who has come along to our drop in events over the past week. Your feedback and thoughts are really valuable to us, keep them coming!
Our next drop in event is on Wednesday evening at the Te Puna Quarry Park Gallery between 4pm - 7pm. Come along and speak with elected members about the number of things we have up for consultation at the moment.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
