Spring

Gordon from Papamoa Beach

"The Spring is sprung,
The grass is riz,
I wonder where the birdies is?
They say "The bird is on the wing"!
But, that's absurd!

When does Spring arrive in Papamoa?
Some say 1 October,
Others say 1 September,
I say - 1 August,
Why?
1. The grass is growing,
2. My Gravillias are flowering - and have been for the last two weeks!
3. The Hedges are luxuriant! - I cut them yesterday!
4. We live in a Coastal environment, not like Queenstown...Brr...!

Anyone who denies what I am saying, just doesn't live in PMA!!
