Apartment living in central areas - what should it look like?
We want to enable more people to live within walking distance of shops, jobs, public transport, schools, open space and services. So we’re proposing to make it easier to build terraced housing and four- to six-storey apartment buildings in parts of the Te Papa peninsula. What should these types of housing look like? As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
