Level 4 and 3 reminder
Now more than ever, we need to follow the rules to prevent the spread of COVID-19. So as a reminder under level 4 and 3:
🌳 Mauao is closed and that includes the base track.
🛹 Heading out for exercise or essentials? Keep a physical distance of 2m, don't put yourself or others at risk.
🌊If you are heading to the beach don't take an ATV or head out on the boat
🐛 Transfer stations are closed to the public, but will be open for commercial waste providers and existing account holders under Level 3. Non account holders can arrange a collection with a private waste service provider.
And also:
💩 Your dog’s poo, pick it up.
We are not quite there yet. Be respectful of others and the spaces that we share.
Stay safe, stay home and be kind.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
