Freshwater Prawns and Fresh Mudcrabs
I am just here to get some feedback on something I will be keen to do very soon business wise. I have been taking some time to do some research etc on this. I have the intention to bring in freshwater prawns and hopefully live mud crabs into New Zealand from overseas.Freshwater prawns will b e pretty much fresh, caught, packed and sent to me all within the week. Mudcrabs will be live, is I have the intention of selling as soon as I pick them up from the airport, even if it is midnight, I will sell from my address, (which I have licence for from Auckland Council) And I am looking for any feedback, negative or positive, I will take it on the chin no problems..I will get the first batch hopefully by christmas. I have some positive feedbacks from restaurants from Auckland and wellington and would like to hear from anyone in public as my intention is to sell at the local Manurewa and Otara markets and possibly Hamilton and Takapuna markets to cater for the asian and other communities who are more keen on prawns and mud crabs. Night-time chipsealing works on SH2
From 9 to 17 February, stop/go traffic management will be in place on SH2 between McPherson Road and Dimmock Road on multiple nights between 9pm and 5am (Sundays to Thursdays).
During the day, all lanes will be open, but speed restrictions will apply to allow the chipseal to set and to protect vehicles travelling over the newly laid surface.
There may be delays to your journey when travelling through the area. This is weather dependent so check NZTA Journey Planner before you travel.
