Major growth on way for south Auckland
Options for transport networks and use of land for future housing and jobs in Drury-Opāheke and Pukekohe-Paerata are available for public consultation from 10 September.
Specialists from Auckland Council and the Supporting Growth Alliance will be available at a number of public information events to explain ideas that will be developed as part of structure plans to significantly urbanise the south over 10 to 30 years.
Auckland’s Unitary Plan has identified land around Drury-Opāheke and Pukekohe-Paerata as areas for future urban development.

Stolen car - LPP146 blue Daihatsu boon

Our locked vehicle was stolen from our driveway in the early hours of this morning - 27/12/25. It is a blue Daihatsu boon rego # LPP146. I am a carer to my 92yrs mum. Her walker was in the back with 4 boxes of washed clothes for hospice op shop. If you see this vehicle can you pls call the police and message me on neighbourly.
