PAPAKURA ART GROUP NEWSLETTER May 30th
Hope you are managing to keep nice and warm in this cold weather. Perhaps this is good weather to find a nice warm spot to do some painting in.
Jan has found some painting tips for us which will be included each week in the Newsletter. If anyone else has any tips or suggestions that we could share please let me know so I can include them also.
As always new members are most welcome.
Where to find us: - We meet at the Old Central School Hall 57 Wood St Papakura every Wednesday 12-3:30pm
What do we offer: - Free painting time, Art Tuition with experienced Artists Demonstrations and tips, a great book and DVD library, Workshops, Social interaction, Exhibitions, Competition, Plein Air days, a weekly newsletter, free tea and coffee available; make it yourself and bring along your lunch for a sit down and chat from mid-day.
What we use: - Our members work in watercolour, pastels, acrylics, oils, pencil/pen and charcoal and mixed media.
Who are we: - We are a very active group of people who welcome new members and who are always willing to help if you need some help.
