Greetings dear neighbors! I hope you have been treating this weekend with as much generosity as you’d like it to treat you!

I had the chance to go to the Tesla Store on K Road recently and view the Tesla Model 3 in person for the first time. It is the left hand model, and it is only there for a brief amount of time, so you should be quick before it leaves if you want to see that beauty in person!

I’m wondering if any of you are keen on Tesla or any other electric vehicles? I have never been into cars before at all, and in fact I have always driven cheap second hand cars, but when it comes to electric cars I am finding myself unable to resist the pull!

I have tried the Nissan Leaf as a rental for a few days. I loved how easy it is to charge it and how fun it is to drive! It also felt quite roomy and zippy, and of course sounded very quiet. I wanted to buy one, but the limited range and the way it looks make me be so hesitant, especially with other options arriving in New Zealand in the near future, like the Tesla Model 3.

I took a Tesla Model S for a eat drive last year. It felt like a dream! It felt like at least 20 years ahead of its time! No other electric vehicle, not even a Mercedes, comes close!

Since I can’t afford a Model S, I decided to pay to reserve a Model 3 for me. I expect it will be available for me by the end of 2019. It will start around the same price as a Hyundai Ioniq or a brand new Nissan Leaf, between 50-60 thousand NZD, but when compared to either of those two it will be found to be far superior in every way, especially where it counts the most for many: the range! The Model 3 bass model will be capable of doing around 360+ km on a full charge, where a Hyundai Ioniq is only capable of 220 km, and the new Nissan Leaf is around the same.

I don’t mean to write a detailed article about Tesla or other electric vehicles here’s but I am happy to answer any questions anyone may have about Tesla vehicles should you have any.

The purpose of this post is to see how much interest there is in electric vehicles in the neighborhood at the moment, and if anyone has reserved a Tesla Model 3? Or if there are any EV owners, and how you’re finding your EV?😊

Peace!
