Rakahuri Rage Mountain Bike Event

Rangiora Fitness Centre

The weather forecast is looking FANTASTIC for this Sunday and the running of the 2018 Rakahuri Rage. High cloud, 18 or 19 degrees, light winds - perfect conditions for riders and spectators both. I rode the track last night and it is in fantastic condition so we should be in for some fast lap times.

This is a perfect event for riders of all abilities and a great way to experience the competitive side of mountain bike racing in a fun, friendly and supportive environment.

Don't forget entries close today but cos we're really nice we'll give you till Tuesday morning to shake up a few team mates and get your entry in.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
