I have drapes that I would like to be made into Roman Blinds. Is there any extremely talented sewers (Hope I spelt that right) out there that can do this for me please. I would also need guidance in hanging them. No businesses at this stage. text 0273621601

Google 'Lets Talk Waimakariri" to find the link.A draft plan, called ‘Waimakariri: Better than Before’, is in development and currently has six programmes of focus including:
· Playing a role in leadership, advocacy and providing support for businesses who are facing a downturn
· Preparing strategies to further improve our town centres and business areas while accelerating the ‘green economy'
· Supporting investment from the development and building sector
· Bringing forward planned capital projects that could stimulate the economy and provide jobs
· Ensure the wellbeing of all residents through additional community development and support
· Maximise business survival and enable new business development.

Does anyone have a copy of John Harris's book on the History of Woodend please. A friend's mother was a Gebbie and I would like to give her a copy.

I was attacked a few years ago and to this day still fear dogs and I felt so helpless that I feared going to her rescue. Thankfully this gentleman's intervention stopped it from potentially turning very nasty.
