Surplus paper rubbish bags
Have you received your new wheelie bins and crates for rubbish and recycling?
The collection of wheelie bins and crates starts on 31 October - just under a month away!
If you have a pile of paper rubbish bags that you won't use before then you may wish to donate them to your local community centre.
The following organisations are taking surplus rubbish bags now:
- Fordlands Community Centre (48 Bellingham Crescent)
- Mokoia Community Association (297 Vaughan Road)
- Progress Ngongotaha - during opening hours (180 Ngongotaha Road, across from the Post shop)
- Linton Park Community Centre (16 Kamahi Place)
If you have any questions about the new rubbish and recycling services call Rotorua Lakes Council's Customer Centre on 0800 020 001.
