The McKinnon and Walter families have created a giant bear in their paddock, alongside a big dog - I don't think its name is Clifford - and a few side pieces their children jump on to bring joy to passing truckies.
Do you have any teddy bear creations that we haven't seen? Post them here or send them through to maxine.jacobs@stuff.co.nz, we'd love to see them :)

Normally I would pick up litter in my walks to the park and riverside, but with Covid 19 in the community and 2 people with infections who have not been overseas, naturally I am not going to put my health a risk. Could people please be careful with what could be a serious infection source to the public? Dispose of your waste products into the rubbish bins, or carry a paper bag with you to take home to put into the landfill rubbish. We will need to also protect the Council workers who are emptying these bins.

Hi neighbours,
Our District News focuses on the Emergency Operations Centre in Feilding. While COVID-19 is the big story, there's also an update on the construction of the MacDonald Heights Reserve.

My Dad lives in Hamilton and I live in Palmy he has Alzheimers but manages to still live at home with carers help. For the last 14 months I have done his groceries on line but of course now with this happening I am having problems. He has run out of food and although I have rung the supermarket 3 times now emailed a list, given them my credit card etc, they still haven't delivered his food. Does anyone know who else I could contact, I can't seem to find anything on the covid-19 website.
