Cheese Making Workshop - Thursday, 30th July, 6.30pm - 8.30pm at Riverside Community Cultural Centre, 289 Main Road Lower Moutere. $35 per person.
Back due to popular demand! The Nelson region is hungry for more cheese... We hereby offer a repeat of the June cheese making workshop.
Join us at the Riverside kitchen to make a simple hard cheese that matures over a short period of time and tastes just great. A lot of people think making a hard cheese is difficult and time consuming. After just two hours spend with us in the kitchen you will go home feeling empowered and up-skilled.

Please note that we will be using Riverside Milk which is RAW milk and may not be suitable for everyone's consumption. The Ministry of Primary Industries advises the following: โRaw milk may contain microorganisms that can causeserious illness. To reduce the risk of illness, raw milk should be heated to at least 70 degree Celsius for one minute. This is critical for infants, young children, the elderly, pregnant women and people with weakened immune systems.โ
