Our cows are grass-fed and enjoy rolling hills and meadows, which are managed using regenerative farming practices.
Profits from our dairy farm go into supporting the charitable purposes of Riverside Community Trust and supporting the wider community.

I regret to inform you that our good old Brunimat Vending Machine has had some serious electronic issues and will be out of action until we can procure the needed replacement motherboard from Brunimat in Switzerland.
I have contacted Mr Alfred Bruni about this today and urged him to make all possible haste with sending us the required part as we have so many loyal customers relying on his fantastic machine to supply them daily with pure fresh farm milk. We hope they will courier and airfreight the part as quickly as possible and, with luck, be back up and running again in 10 days' time. This would then be Monday 27th November.
I sincerely hope you can forgive us for this inconvenience and the probable necessity to consume pasteurised milk over the next two weeks, as I don’t think there is any other raw milk available on this side of Christchurch.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your past and continued support enabling us to continue operating to supply you with real unadulterated milk here at the top of the South.
We will confirm our reopening data as soon as possible.

We are looking for an experienced Office/Payroll Administrator.
You will play a key role in the overall administration of our organisation. The role includes accounting tasks, general customer service, office administration, and working with a varied group of people.
To be successful in this role, you will:
• Have experience and be competent in XERO accounting systems, payroll, and Microsoft Office.
• Perform accounting tasks, including invoicing and budget tracking, monthly reconciliations, audit accounts, taxation requirements, regular financial reports, and other accounting tasks.
• Manage clerical duties, including filing, answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing documents
• Provide administrative support for the Riverside Community Trust Board and enterprise management team.
• Greet visitors, answer inquiries and direct visitors to the appropriate personnel.

This Mozzarella Making Workshop is for cheesy kids! Led by Tanja and Faline, this hands-on exploration will usher kids - aged 8 and above - into the whey-splashed world of homemade cheese. They'll discover the "messy" fun of crafting mozzarella using cow's milk.
Kids will work cooperatively, taking home not just their own round of pizza-ready mozzarella, but a valuable recipe for future cooking escapades.
Safety is a priority! Ensure your child brings a pair of new, well-fitted kitchen gloves as they'll be handling hot water.

We're thrilled to host another children's pretzel-making workshop, designed for those 8 years and up.
In this workshop, kids will be introduced to a unique technique of baking a soft, golden-brown pretzel, differing from regular bread through its boiling-baking process. Beyond baking, this workshop will enhance their creativity, fine motor skills, and patience, and ensure a joyful experience culminating in a delicious self-made pretzel.
Note: This workshop incorporates standard white flour and butter, unsuitable for gluten and dairy-intolerant individuals. It also involves boiling water; hence children below 8 require adult supervision.
