It's movie night again in Mapua on Sunday, Set 9 at 6:30 pm. This time the movie Bottle Shock will be shown in the Mapua Community Hall.

Paris-based wine expert Steven Spurrier heads to California in search of cheap wine that he can use for a blind taste test in the French capital. Stumbling upon the Napa Valley, the stuck-up Englishman is shocked to discover a winery turning out top-notch chardonnay. Determined to make a name for himself, he sets about getting the booze back to Paris.

Come and see this movie, maybe after a get together in the Sprig and Fern first.

This excellent movie is coming up on Maori Tv next Sunday 9th September. Based on a real story, its 5 star rating is thoroughly deserved for the story line could be the experience of many the world over. NZ no exception.
After having suffered a heart-attack, a 59-year-old carpenter must fight the bureaucratic forces of the system in order to receive Employment and Support Allowance.
Might I suggest it should be compulsory viewing for staff employed by ACC and WINZ . . . even used during orientation exercises.
You will smile, laugh, cheer and maybe even shed a tear. Pencil it in - Maori TV 9 Sept, 8.30pm. It lives up to its Five Stars.
