Dumpling Workshop

Riverside Milk

Join in another Cooking Class at the Riverside Centre Kitchen in Lower Moutere: Thursday, 21st July, 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Dumplings are a delectable addition to any buffet - or a light meal in themselves. One thing is for sure - there are never enough of them!

Your workshop tutor Beth has perfected the art of dumpling making over many years and has also been selling her beautiful creations at the Motueka market. She will share her recipes with you and teach you how to prepare the dough, wrap the filling, and steam the dumplings. In this workshop, there will be two fillings to choose from shrimp or vegetarian.

There will be lots of sampling – ensure your dinner beforehand is not too filling.

Please note we will be working with standard white flour, so it is not suitable for anyone with gluten intolerance.

Limited to 12 participants, so get in early. $35 per participant. Register: www.riverside.org.nz...

This workshop is proudly sponsored by the Riverside Community Trust. Please contact Tanja (education@riverside.org.nz) to discuss sponsorship options if you are struggling to meet the workshop fee or to enquire about more info.

Looking for Aroha

Andrea from Richmond

Good Morning and blessings for a New Year. An elderly 80 year old friend has had a major change in circumstances, he has faced this with humility. I would love to surprise him and create a beautiful small space in his garden for him to relax and feel the Aroha. Any kindly people who have anything they would like to add, I would be very happy to pick up, that would create a lovely space and I will post a pic when its done (Hopefully the weekend). He has two small old chairs currently, I would love to a add small outdoor table, plants and pots, he would have the love to give to plants that need TLC too. Thank you for reading.
