Are most volunteers retired?
A lot of people think that volunteers are mostly retired, but when we looked at our stats recently, we found out that only 14% of new volunteers in Marlborough are retired. Interestingly, the biggest group was people who are in full-time employment (24%).

People in part-time employment - 10%
Students - 10%
Seeking employment - 15%
Self-employed - 5%
Not in paid employment by choice - 4%
Rather not say - 9%
Other - 9%
