New Rangiora Fitness Centre
Our brand new Fitness Centre is now open and running well at 345 Flaxton Road, Rangiora. Not only is it North Canterbury's biggest and best gym, offering a full range of weights, cardio, Les Mills and other exercise options, but we also have Active Health service providers onsite along with an in-house cafe and a sauna.
All this is available to our members for just $16.50 per week - plus we have discounts for students, seniors and Community Services Card holders. And unlike most other gyms we welcome Casual visitors, come for a class or a workout - or just a sauna - and pay just a casual visit.
Our cafe is open to anyone - grab a barista coffee, healthy fruit smoothie and some healthy food while you shop in the area or are waiting for your warrant at VTNZ next door.
The Rangiora Fitness Centre is operated by the North Canterbury Sport & Recreation Trust, with your membership helping the Trust to run its many sporting programmes throughout the region.
See you at the Rangiora Fitness Centre soon.

Poll: Would you take a 1.5-hour hike for a shop? 🌿🐦
Canterbury, you have a hidden treasure right on your doorstep ... though it does come with a 1.5-hour walk up the stunning Rakaia Gorge Walkway.
Along the trail you’ll find The Fantail Shop showcasing small artworks by local artisans. Even better, every purchase supports the Fantail Trust, helping protect and restore biodiversity on the north bank of the gorge.
So we’re curious: would you take a 1.5-hour hike for a shop? (And for local biodiversity, of course 🌿)

32.2% Yes!
-
67.8% No thank you.
