Stolen tree
Sometime last night the tree out the front of Rangiora Playcentre has been stolen. You can see where the tree was dragged along the ground on White Street. We lost the trail on the north side of Wiltshire Court and can't see it in the gardens or the park opposite.
Playcentre is predominantly a volunteer early childhood centre, run by families for families. Only 2 weeks ago we had a working bee and a local company kindly donated both their time and this tree to us. The tree was going to provide valuable shade in years to come over one of the play areas.
If anyone is out and about in the White Street/Dudley Park area this morning and sees our tree (in the second photo) please pm me as we would love to get it back.
